4 Installation

The work described in this section must only be carried out

by a competent person.

4.1 Accessories

4.1.1 Controller

To control the ecoTEC, Vaillant offers various controller ver-

sions for connecting to the switching rail or for plugging

into the operator control screen.

4.1 Controller accessories

4.1.2 Installation and operation

Optional accessories are available for use in conjunction

with the installation and operation of the ecoTEC.

The current price list shows the complete range of hydraulic

accessories for the ecoTEC plus series.

The pipes can be routed upwards behind the

boiler in front of the wall (surface installation)

using the spacer frame. Which means the dis-

tance between the wall and the boiler increases

by 65mm.

4.2 Scope of delivery

The Vaillant ecoTEC plus is delivered pre-mounted in a

packaging unit.

4.2.1 Unpacking the boiler

> Remove the boiler from its box.

> Remove the protective film from all parts of the boiler.

4.2.2 Checking the scope of delivery.

> Check that all parts have been delivered and are intact

(¬fig.4.1 and ¬table4.2 or ¬fig.4.2 and ¬table4.3).
